Proud to Support Bula Week and Cultural Exchange at Waverley College

‍At Sydney Wyde, we believe in backing meaningful initiatives that create real connections, opportunities, and lifelong memories. That’s why we were incredibly proud to support Bula Week at Waverley College, a vibrant cultural exchange that welcomed three visiting students from Fiji, Luke, Avisai and Taivesi, into the school and wider community.

Over the course of the week, the students immersed themselves in school life, taking part in friendly games of touch football and rugby, sharing stories and traditions through language and cultural exchange sessions, and experiencing some of Sydney’s most iconic sights. From the classroom to Centrepoint, the Aquarium and Wildlife World, it was a week filled with learning, laughter and connection.

We’re grateful to Waverley College for the opportunity to be involved in such a meaningful initiative and to give back in a way that reflects our values. It was a combined effort by many – including the Waverley College Rugby Supporters Club, the Quinn family, the Charing Cross Hotel, and generous local families – all of whom helped create a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for the visiting students.

As a family-owned business, we’re passionate about supporting initiatives that foster community, encourage cultural exchange and create opportunities for young people to grow. It was a privilege to help bring this experience to life, and we’re looking forward to hearing all about the return trip to Fiji in September.
